Detailed product description

Eye Formula from the Pharmanex range (Nu Skin) is a daily food supplement developed specifically to supply the eyes with antioxidant micronutrients. At the heart of the formula are the two carotenoids Lutein (10 mg per daily dose) and Zeaxanthin (2 mg per daily dose), which occur in high concentration in the retina - especially in the macula - where they act as a natural filter against high-energy blue light and oxidative stress. The two pigments are not produced by the body itself and must be obtained through the diet; with a modern lifestyle involving a lot of screen work, artificial lighting and outdoor activities, targeted supplementation is therefore worthwhile for many people. In addition, Eye Formula provides the antioxidants Vitamin C, Vitamin E (as D-alpha tocopheryl acetate) as well as the trace elements zinc (as zinc gluconate), copper (as copper gluconate) and selenium (as L-selenomethionine). These nutrients contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress (Vitamin C, Vitamin E, zinc, selenium) and support the normal function of the immune system as well as the maintenance of normal vision (zinc). Suitable as long-term support for anyone who works a lot at a screen, often spends time in bright sunlight or would like to support eye health with age. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet. **Important note:** Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
