Treatment process

After shaving, the skin area to be treated is cleansed and coated with ultrasound gel. The handpiece is placed on the skin and pulsed light flashes are triggered. By passing over or stamping the area to be treated several times, the skin is gently warmed slowly but steadily.

As the light energy hits or enters the skin, you feel a slight pulse of warmth or a tingling/pricking sensation.

During the treatment a slight, intended reddening and warming of the skin may occur. The formation of wheals (perifollicular oedema) may also appear, but this usually subsides again during the treatment or shortly afterwards and can be regarded as a positive reaction – just like the tingling in the skin, which may still be felt during and after the treatment.
